Labour Day: the end of summer; the start of a new year; the last hurrah; picnics; camping; barbecues
This labour day celebrate the holiday and its history by attending the Family Barbecue with the Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Labour.
From 1-5pm enjoy free food, entertainment, games, a bouncy castle, face-painting, a scavenger hunt and more with your family.
And listen to the speeches… that’s the only thing you have to give in return. Help your children understand the importance of the labour movement in creating fair working environments for all of us

What to Bring:
- Raingear and dry clothes (forecast is not amazing, event goes ahead rain or shine)
- a lawn chair if wanted (there are stands you can sit in)
- your ears and heart
