ARTFUSiON Festival, Saturday, September 14 at Kenmount Park Community Centre, includes performances by dancers, hula hoopers, jugglers, and musicians of all kinds. Swim the Kyle
The 4th Annual Swim the Kyle in Harbour Grace. At 2pm, Libby Earle, daughter of the late Captain Guy Earle, legendary sea captain and last owner of the SS Kyle, will make her annual swim to touch the bow of the Kyle. Kelly Russell will be reciting his Dads poem Smoke Room on the Kyle, author Pat Collins will be signing his book The Spirit of the Kyle, Corrina Fahey will be unveiling a new painting of the SS Kyle, and the Battalion 201 Drum & Gloc Corps will be providing music.

Demo-X – Great for Teens
On Sunday, September 15, The Peoples Assembly NL and The Social Justice Co-operative NL present Demo-X, a free public workshop and an experiment in democracy, from 7-9pm at the Foran/Greene Room at St. Johns City Hall.
Just in time for upcoming municipal elections, the workshop which will give participants the opportunity to experiment with different democratic processes which have taken place all over the world.
